Upstairs, Downstairs: The Hidden History of the Henry Home at Boulton
A multi-year project by several volunteers to transcribe Henry family letters has revealed lots of new information about the daily life in the Henrys’ home at Boulton from the 1870s to the 1920s. These letters make the Henry home come alive–always changing as the telephone or the automobile arrived, as wallpaper went up (and down) and porches got repaired, and as the Henrys themselves, and the servants they hired to work for them, cleaned and canned and cared for their animals.

The Phoenix has convenient parking and easy access. We chose a Sunday afternoon so our guests do not need to drive at night. The Society is grateful to our donors and supporters that are helping us to keep the cost affordable.
